I would like to offer a warm welcome and thank you for visiting the BAPA website. My dedicated staff and I are committed to making a difference for every individual young person that attends our alternative provision academy.
BAPA comprises of two sites, Aireview in Saltaire and Jesse Street at Fairweather Green, off Thornton Road. The two sites work closely together to offer the best service for young people, families and schools. In addition, a number of students access provision away from our sites at other alternative provision (AP) settings. These include Bradford and Keighley colleges and a number of smaller providers.
Both sites are purpose built; the small, calm and welcoming environments allow students to feel safe and valued. During the placement, focus is placed on individual need, and by supporting this, students gain the skills, knowledge and confidence that will allows them to become more successful within education and wider society.
Students who attend our extended APs are able to benefit for offers that best meet need. These include vocational subjects, that support qualifications and future employment, as well as small nurturing settings that support engagement and personal development.
Over time, we have built up an excellent reputation for the impact that we have with our students. As a result, we are highly regarded within Bradford.
